SOFTWARE ENGINEER II

Position Summary:

This position will be instrumental in the development of the new version of this mission critical application, which provides command and control of devices and assures site security.  The new version will utilize Java/JavaScript, and MERN stack. The developer will assist/mentor junior development team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Fourteen (14) years as a Software Engineer in programs, and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Java Application Frameworks (Spring 3 or 4, Hibernate, or other current Java Application Frameworks) 
• Object Oriented Computer Languages (JavaSE or JavaEE , C++, etc.) 
• REST Application Program Interfaces 
• Web development 
• Database Management Systems (MySQL, Oracle, PostgresSQL, etc.) 
• NoSQL Databases (Lucene, Solr, Mongo, etc.) 
• Lucene based applications (Splunk, Elasticsearch, Solr, etc.)
• Linux Development and Administration 
• Eclipse
• Must hold a current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Desired Skills:

• Full-stack development
